FLOTA has a progressive learning model that is proven to be effective. Each class builds on the other, and we ensure our scholars receive a solid foundation. This allows us to challenge our school-age students with content/curriculum that exceeds their grade level. We teach kindergarten to fifth grade.

Our scholars receive individualized instruction based on their data and learning goals. Students learn how to track their academic progress, set goals, and receive/apply ongoing feedback from their peers and teachers. This method allows students to be challenged and supported based on their personalized needs.

Social-Emotional Learning is vital to the development of our scholars. We teach our students how to regulate their emotions, advocate for themselves, express themselves in a healthy way, and address uncomfortable emotions. We encourage our scholars to share their feelings with their peers/teachers and they have a safe space to do so.

Our programs focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (S.T.E.M.). We ignite the curiosity in our scholars and give them the means to research, collaborate, make observations, and explore to enhance learning. This creates memorable experiences for our students and allows them to learn using real-world application.
